This picture was taken from an abandoned bar along a stretch of mountain roads, somewhere between Karersee and Alleghe.

Just before the sun was hidden behind the tallest peak, a focused beam shone on the orange and brown leaves, turning them almost golden.

The beam elevated the beauty of Dolomites to another level.
